Shirley Dennis

Shirley Rae (Riley) Dennis, age 88, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away on Thursday November 29, 2018.

She was born on Friday May 30, 1930 in Uniontown, Pa.  a daughter of Bernard and Ethel (Anderson) Riley.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Dale Dennis, and her sister Margaret (Riley) Clawson.

She was a member of The Hopwood Free Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School, Bible School and was a member of the choir, she was also a partner in the family business Dennis Refrigeration.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Marsha Dennis of Uniontown, PA, Robert R. Dennis and his wife Debbie of Hopwood, PA, Tammy Gray and her husband Paul of Ashburn VA,

grandchildren, Racquel Burton and her husband Jason of Bristow, VA, Anthony Rosso, Jr., of Uniontown, PA, Deana Dennis of Nashville, TN, Danielle Coryelleand her husband Elijah of Pittsburgh, PA, Taylor Gray of Ashburn, VA, great granddaughter Grace Riley Burton of Bristow, VA and many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Baker-Terravecchia Funeral Home, Inc., 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa 15401 today December 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and on Monday December 3, 2018 from 10 until 11 a.m. in The Hopwood Free Methodist Church 118 Hopwood-Coolspring Road, Hopwood, PA 15445.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
