Louise Zelina

Louise E. Zelina, age 86, of Masontown, Pa, passed away on Thursday January 17, 2019.

She was born on Friday January 29, 1932 in Carmichaels, Pa, a daughter of Jozef and Kathryn Wahula.

Louise was a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help St Mary Roman Catholic Church Leckrone, currently a member of St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels, Pa.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Zelina of 55 years, 2 brothers and 6 sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is her children Raymond Zelina and wife Jill, Marilyn Butcho, and husband Carl, JoAnn Arndt Madich, Joseph Zelina III, Robert Zelina and wife Stacy, Melissa Kinzey and husband Scott. She also has 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and is survived by her sisters; Helen Machesky, Loretta Auther and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Terravecchia-Haky Home for Funerals, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, Pa., today January 20, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. and on Monday January 21, 2019 until 10:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

The funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels with Father J. Francis Frazer as celebrant.

Interment will be held in St. Mary Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.

A Parish wake service will be held today January 20, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
