Linda Michalik

Linda Michalik, age 58, of Stamford, CT and formerly of Masontown, PA passed away unexpectedly at the Yale New Haven Hospital on January 14, 2017.

She was born on Tuesday July 18, 1959 a daughter of Stanley and Mary (Advent) Michalik.

Predeceased by her parents and her sister Rosemary Hoferka.

Linda was a financial analyst at Charter Communications for 40 years relocating to Stamford CT in 2016 for a job that she truly loved.

She loved her family, her many friends and her coworkers.

Linda was a member of St. Francis of Assisi, Masontown, PA, where she volunteered for many functions throughout the years and was a lecter and a Eucharistic Minister.

She was a proud Pittsburgh Steeler/pirate fan, she loved going to the casino and traveling., but mostly spending time with her family.

Linda will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Surviving are her sisters Janet Michalik of Masontown, PA, Joanne Michalik of Washington, PA, Mary Jeanne Nobers and her husband Jeff of McMurray, PA, nieces and nephews Emily Nobers, Matthew Nobers, Stanley Hoferka Jensen, Adam Hoferka, she is also survived by a special friend Raymond Joseph.

Friends will be received in the Terravecchia-Haky Home for Funerals, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Thursday January 18, 2018 from 2-8 p.m.; and on Friday January 19, 2018 until 9:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Masontown PA, with Rev. Father William G. Berkey as celebrant.

Interment will be held in St Mary Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.

St. Francis of Assisi Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary on Thursday at 4 p.m..
