Linda Christine (Valencheck) Harden

Linda Christine (Valencheck) Harden, 66, of Masontown, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa surrounded by her loving family & friends.

She was born on Wednesday, November 27, 1957 in Uniontown, Pa. the daughter of Victor and Dorothy (Stajnrajh) Valencheck, whom preceded her in death.

Linda was a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School, and was employed at Hatfield Power Plant for 22 years, she was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend to so many.

She leaves behind her loving husband Richard “Gus” Harden, children, Brandon Rotharmel, Jared (Amanda) Rotharmel, grandchildren, Taylor Rotharmel, Tyler Rotharmel, Owen Rotharmel, brothers; Victor (Gayle) Valencheck, James (Donna) Valencheck, David Valencheck (Sherry), sister Elaine (Dennis) McCann, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her last living aunt Aunt Mitzi and in-laws George Harden, Marlene (Mark) Hoffmann & Bob Panzone, and her best friend Peggy Bukrim.

Her joy was loving and caring for her family. And enjoyed spending time with them & with her friends. She loved reading a good book and traveling especially to the beach.

Friends will be received in the Terravecchia-Haky Home for Funerals, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday October 30 2024 until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.

Interment will be private.

The family suggest memorial donations be made in Linda’s name to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center 5115 Centre Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15232
