Josephine Settimi

Josephine D. Settimi, age 89, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Monday January 22, 2018.

She was born on Monday February 27, 1928 in Oliver 3, Uniontown, Pa.  a daughter of Pasquale and Donette (Polito) Garafola,

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Angelo Garafola at the age of 8, her second brother Angelo Garafola, Pete Garafola, Tony Garafola and his wife Grace.

She was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church St. Therese Alter Society and the Catholic War Veteran’s Ladies Auxilary.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 69 years Emilio Settimi, nieces and nephews; Donella Lucostic and her husband TJ, Carmel Garafola, great nephews; Anthony Lucostic and his wife Lindsey, Christopher Lucostic, Philip Lucostic and his wife Abby, Ryan Lucostic, brother-in-law Sam Settimi and his wife Margaret, she was also survived by many nieces and nephews that live in New Jersey.

Friends will be received in the Baker-Terravecchia Funeral Home, Inc. 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. 15401 on Thursday January 25, 2018 from 8 to 9:30 AM when prayers of transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa. at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
