He was here with us, so handsome and vibrant, with his always ready smile and laugh and then suddenly before we were ready, he was let loose from this earthly bond, so he can hunt and fish to his delight in heaven.
He passed away on Sunday May 19, 2019
Born Monday May 9, 1955 in Merrittstown, Pa., he was the son of Steven “Pete” Schubert and Ruth (Vojtkofsky) Schubert.
He was a graduate of Brownsville High School and California State College.
He was employed as a proud coal miner and an asbestos abatement foreman, as a sales director with Sylvan Heights, Lafayette and Greene County Memorial Cemeteries. He was currently employed as a sales associate with Jordan Auto.
David was an avid fisherman and hunter with his prize trophy deer “Hook”
He was predeceased by both of his parents and his brother Steven L. Schubert.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years Lisa (Jarzynka) Schubert and his two extraordinarily, intelligent, beautiful daughters of whom he was extremely proud and loved them completely, Kelsey Genevieve Schubert and fiancé Nathan Drennon, and his “babies” Spensley Aubrey Schubert and boyfriend Zack Hartzog, he is also survived by his granddog and special little buddy Irial.
Cherishing his memory also are Marice and Jerry Clark, Kevin Jarzynka, Stanley Jarzynka, Janel and Garrett Mechling, Garret and Jessica Clark and daughter Sylvia, Jenna and Scot Russell and daughter Adelaide whom he took joyful delight in seeing on his Thursday night grocery shopping.
Josh and Kaitlyn Jarzynka and son Eric and daughters Paisley and Natalie.
He also leaves behind his wonderful circle of friends whom he loved and was loved by George and Michele, Rick and Mandy, Mike and Diana, Evan and Amanda, Dale and Cheryl, and Popeye and Teri.
Friends will be received in the Baker-Terravecchia Funeral Home, Inc., 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa 15401 on Wednesday May 22, 2019 from 2-8 PM and on Thursday May 23, 2019 until 9AM when prayers of transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church Footedale, Pa at 10 AM.
Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Footedale, Pa.
